Prenatal Yoga Practice

Can I get treated if I am on my period?

Yes. We can certainly still work together, as long as you are comfortable. We will discuss the session plan, and you can decide what you would like to do.

If you would like to cancel, I ask for 24 hours notice

What are your rates?

I do not work with any insurances. I am a private pay, concierge service. Please contact me for pricing and scheduling. I need to know where you live - I cover a portion of Los Angeles and Orange counties.

What might treatment entail?

Education: You will learn more about your pelvic anatomy and how different components work alone and together. You may also learn how habits or hygiene affectyour symptoms.

Pelvic floor exercises: You may be taught how to contract and relax pelvic floor muscles in relation to other muscles. You will also be taught breathing and timing techniques to make the exercises more effective – and why breathing is an important part of pelvic health. Such exercises can stretch tight muscles, strengthen weak ones, and improve flexibility.

Manual therapy: I may use hands-on massage or stretching to help with posture, blood circulation, and mobility. This may be external, but if needed, and you consent, it may require some internal work.

Pelvic floor biofeedback: Biofeedback is a technique that can help people “see” how the pelvic floor muscles are working. To do this, electrodes are placed externally.

Vaginal dilators: These tube-shaped plastic devices can help women learn to relax their pelvic muscles to allow easier penetration. Women who have been treated for gynecological cancer may also find them helpful for vaginal rehabilitation after treatment.
